Aryan is a Trainee at Singularity Legal. His range of experience includes advising clients in their cross-border disputes in arbitrations under various rules such as SIAC, and litigation before courts in India. He also represents athletes and sports federations in anti-doping and other sports disputes.
Arbitration:
- Representing an Indian trading company in an arbitration in relation to the sale of cotton yarn to a Hong Kong-based buyer under two sales orders (SIAC Rules, Singapore seated, English law)
- Representing an Indian optical networking company in an arbitration in relation to the supply of hardware components against a Cambodia-based data management company (SIAC Rules, Indian law)
Litigation:
- Representing an Indian powerlifting athlete who was tested positive for doping at the National Senior (Men & Women) Equipped Powerlifting Championship 2023, India (Delhi High Court and Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel)
- Representing an Indian company in resisting enforcement of a SIAC foreign award (Bombay High Court)
- Representing a personal guarantor in defending proceedings by an Indian financial creditor for non-payment of dues (National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai)
